1980 yildan buyon fotografiya bilan astoydil shug'ullanaman. Jurnalistik faoliyatimni 1983 yil "Toshkent universiteti" ko'p nusxali gazetasida boshlaganman. 1985 yil ToshDU (hozirgi Milliy universitet) ni bitirib, "Yosh leninchi" yoshlar gazetasiga muxbir bo'lib, ish boshlaganman. Bir vaqtning o'zida gazeta uchun fotolar ham olardim. 1996 yili "O'zbekiston ovozi" gazetasida fotomuxbir bo'lib, ish boshladim. Ko'p o'tmay O'zbekistin Milliy axborot agentligi - O'zA ga ishga taklif qilishdi.
